Just Let Go (The Matrix)
Well, I think that it is one of the best movies that is waking up people and make them question their lifes. Some people say it is a mind generated movie and some say that it is a movie related to Buddhism. In my opinion it is an awakening for this generation.
The reason I am sharing this with you is that one of the philosophies in the movie is lettinggo. I would like to share some quotes of the movie that I find very interesting because it speaks about going beyond the mind.
In a scene where Neo is trying to jump from a roof to another one, he doesn't believe he can do it. When Morpheus realizes that he says:
"You have to let it all go, Neo. Fear, doubt, and disbelief. Free your mind!"
When we are caught up in life, we don't believe we can be successful, we don't believe we can do better, we eventually don't realize that we have the potential to achieve everything. But when we let go, we start to open to all the unlimited energy that is right behind everything that was holding us back.
I also would like to share the ending part of the movie where Neo can see through the illusion of everything.
At this coversation, you can replace the word bullets as feelings, thoughts, beliefs, concepts and than it will make sense for you I believe.
Here is the conversation:
Neo: What are you trying to tell me? That I can dodge bullets?
Morpheus: No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to.
When a problem appears in awareness, what we usually do is to try to change it,
control it, understand it, resist it. Eventually we try to do something with or about it. But when we just let it do whatever it is doing it disolves all by itself. The triple welcoming is a wonderfull process that we can use for that.
As we let go, as we discover the truth of who we really are, we realize that we are already whole and complete and also we become transparent to all the emotions, thoughts, beliefs that are effecting us.
